My Mom taught piano, voice and violin out of our home for 50 years, introducing music and enriching over 570 students lives.  It was her desired plan to have the flexibility to be home raising her kids yet still pursue her professional goals and career, it was a perfect match for her!

Mom went to Nyack College then graduated from Gordon College. She studied music at the New School of Music in Princeton NJ. She was proceeded in death by her parents John Madison and Adora Rost.

The last 24 years Mom conquered breast cancer via holistic and unique methods of nutrition, diet and lifestyle choices.  If you know my Mom she is an "Independent Cusp" and does it her way! She fought hard, but the end of life is upon her as the cancer metastasized. Mom passed away and is now in Heaven as of yesterday August 17th, 2021, from her own bed at home surrounded by her immediate Family!

Mom you are beyond amazing, so respected and admired for your tenacity, optimism, independence and fight.  But the fight is over...your humor and wit to the final moments of clarity... that's you Mom... lighthearted, determined and believing.  Thank God for that and we will see you in Heaven!

As our Mom heads to Heaven this is Today's verse of the day...."Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God. 2 Corinthians 7:1"

Her last words to me Sunday afternoon: "Anything you have ever heard, seen, or said is in your head." Wit ‘til the end!  She always admonished us all to guard our hearts and minds.
Thanks Mom for your example to us all...We will miss you!

Rest in Peace!

Love Always;
Rob and Donna Prescott
John and Doring Prescott
