Henry Linford Daugherty Jr. of Hatboro, Pennsylvania died Saturday, December 11, 2021 at Edgehill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  He was 80 years old.  Henry was born November 1, 1941 in Lansdale, Pennsylvania, son of the late Henry Linford Daugherty Sr. and the late Esther Salome Corriston (nee - (nee Marsh) Daugherty).  He is the beloved husband of Laura Mae (nee Emery) Daugherty; father of Terrie Kae Daugherty and Deanna Ruth Daugherty; brother of Esther Ruth Guetens and her husband Wallace, Richard Roy Daugherty and his wife the late Barbara Jane, and Sallie Ann Anderson and her husband Douglas; Uncle of Kathy, Arlene, Stuart, Michael, Eric, Lisa, Richard, Jason, Mollie, and the late Allen. Henry grew up and attended schools in Pennsylvania, Delaware and New Jersey, graduating from Triton High School, Runnemede, NJ. He graduated from George Williams College with a Bachelor of Science in group work and recreation. He was a proud Air Force Veteran and met Laura at a square dance while serving at Loring Air Force Base. He asked Laura to help him "lose a bet" and they were married on June 15, 1963. He held several occupations with his favored careers being a Real Estate Agent and a Computer Technician, from which he retired in 2006. Henry was very active in church as a Sunday School teacher, choir member and Trustee, He was passionate about mission work, volunteering his time and home improvement talents to Americares HomeFront while residing in Connecticut and, most recently, with The Nomads and the Appalachia Service Project.  He helped with disaster relief for Katrina in Misssissippi and flooding relief in New York and Iowa with the "Frozen Chosen".  During his time with the Nomads he and his wife traveled with their RV across the United States serving on numerous projects achieving their goal of visiting all 50 of the United States. Other places he enjoyed visiting were Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, Australia, New Zeland, and all but two of the Canadian Provinces. He brought joy to both the young and seniors during the winter holidays season donning his Santa suit, complete with his own beard that he regrew during the second half of every year, and exclaiming hearty "ho-ho-ho"s.  A jokester and a flirt, Hank always brought smiles and laughter wherever he went.
