Raymond was born December 26, 1939 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John J. Sellinger and the late Margaret M. Sellinger (nee - Paraczky). He is the brother of Irene Linda George and the late John J. Sellinger. Uncle of Stephen Sellinger and Richard George.
Raymond was a Philadelphia Police Officer from 1963 to 1983. Raymond than worked as a security officer for Jeanes Hospital until retiring. He enjoyed horse racing in his free time.
