Barbara Ann Gretzula of Hatboro, Pennsylvania died Monday, June 14, 2021 at her home. She was 83 years old. Barbara was born July 31, 1937 in Abington, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Charles Kirby Hurley and the late Molly Ann Hurley (nee - Andrews). She is the beloved wife of the late John J. Gretzula; mother of John Robert Gretzula and his wife Sharon, William H. Gretzula, Sherry Marie Gretzula and her fiance Chris Kosanchuk, and the late Peggy Lynne Price; grandmother of Abby Lee Aversa and William Gretzula; great grandmother of Joe, Damian and Gunnar.
Barbara was born, raised, and educated in Abington. She worked for many years for Decision Data before taking a position at Lockheed Martin as a Type A wireperson. She worked on many projects but her favorie was being part of the team that worked on Marine One.
Relatives and friends were invited to Barbara and John’s graveside service on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at 1:30 PM at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Nancy M. Ludwig from Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 South York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Womens Humane Society, 3839 Richlieu Road, PO Box 1470, Bensalem, PA 19020.
