Elizabeth A. "Betty" Eberhardt of Doylestown, Pennsylvania died Monday, June 21, 2021 at Wesley Enhanced Living Doylestown. She was 91 years old. Betty was born January 14, 1930 in Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of the late Paul Nimmo and the late Esther Nimmo (nee - Shaw). She is the beloved wife of the late Charles Robert Eberhardt; mother of Linda Eberhardt and her husband the late John Gillette, Steven Eberhardt and his wife Gina M., and the late Susan L. O’Brien and her husband John; grandmother of Jason D’Amico, Michael O’Brien, David O’Brien, Melissa Spiron, Danielle Hunsicker, Louis D’Amico, Ryan Eberhardt, and William Gillette; great grandmother of eight; and the sister of the late Craig Nimmo.

Betty was raised and educated in Haverford, PA and was a graduate of Haverford High School. She worked for many years in the construction field as an office manager and was a member of Women in Construction (WIC). At age fifty, Betty became a licensed pilot and enjoyed flying her prop plane. She continued to fly until her eyesight limited her abilities in her 70’s. Betty enjoyed making needlepoint pictures and bird watching, especially watching the hawks at Fort Washington State Park.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Friday, June 25, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. and memorial service at 2:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

Relatives and friends are also invited to her graveside service on Friday, July 9, 2021 at 9:00 A.M. at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, 830 Highland Road, Newtown, PA 18940.

Religious services will be conducted by Rev. James Egbert.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Montgomery County Association for the Blind, 25 East Marshall Street, 3rd Flr., Norristown, PA 19401.
