Ruth L. Moog of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Sunday, December 4, 2022 at her home. She was 97 years old. Ruth was born April 26, 1925 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John Moog Jr. and the late A. Kathryn Moog (nee - Gimbel). She is survived by her niece Lynne Lewis and her husband Randy; nephew George Doerfler and his wife Donna; and two great nieces: Jessica Doerfler, and Casey Hardesty and her husband Joe. Ruth was predeceased by her sister Betty Moog Doerfler Scott.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Her graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Jack Fletcher Price from Bethany United Church of Christ, 6545 Rising Sun Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
