Susan M. Rost of Horsham, Pennsylvania died Sunday, August 8, 2021 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. She was 73 years old. Susan was born February 15, 1948 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Stacey J. Carefoot and the late Kathleen D. Colvin (nee - Geltch). She is the beloved mother of Eric P. Baker and his wife Ann, Katie Bartos and her husband Stephen, and Ashley Martynenko and her husband Tim; grandmother of Andrew, Kevin, Landon, Carson, Nixon, Jamie, Avelyn, and Greyson; she was predeceased by her sisters Noel K. Bianchini and Karen McDonnell.

Susan was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. She was educated at St. Athanasius Parish, Cardinal Dougherty High School, and received her Bachelors degree from LaSalle College. She worked from 1987 through her retirement in 2013 for the United States Department of Defense where she served as a liaison specialist. She enjoyed reading, golf, spending time with friends and traveling. She especially enjoyed her trips to Disney World.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Thursday, August 12, 2021 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Relatives and friends were also invited to her viewing on Friday, August 13, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, PA 19044. Her graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Joseph F. Rymdeika.
