Anne Wilson Schwanholt of Texas City, Texas died Monday, August 23, 2021 at her home. She was 74 years old. Anne was born June 4, 1947 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late George Shinehouse and the late Grace Shinehouse (nee - Gladding). She is the beloved wife of the late Charles Dana Schwanholt; Mother of John Schwanholt and his wife Denise, Amanda D. Schwanholt, and Laura King and her husband Earle; grandmother of Jake, Katie, and Molly Schwanholt and Ryan and Jason King; sister Karen Timmons and her husband Frank.
As a child, Anne lived with her family on the Main Line and spent her summers at the Jersey shore. After graduating from Connestoga High school, she met Charlie and they married in April, 1969. They settled in Warminster, PA, where they raised their three children. Always an avid traveler, Anne enjoyed many cruises and cherished her extensive excursions throughout Europe. When not traveling, she spent her time attending Broadway plays and taking day trips to Atlantic City. Anne was always happiest by the sea and spent her retirement years enjoying the beaches of Galveston, TX.
