Anne Blessing Plossl of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Sunday, June 4, 2023 at the Philadelphia Protestant Home. She was 96 years old. Anne was born September 29, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Carl Frederick Plossl and the late Martha Plossl (nee - Blessing). She is the sister of the late William Plossl and his wife Catherine; Aunt of Carl Plossl and his wife Suzanne Crymes Plossl and Eric Plossl; great aunt of Annania and Alexander Plossl.

Anne was born, raised, and educated in the Lawndale section of Philadelphia. She started working for Sandmeyer Steel as an executive secretary and worked her way up to Personnel Supervisor, working for them for many years. Anne was a longtime and devoted member of Bethany United Church of Christ in the Lawndale section of the city. She was an avid photographer and enjoyed crafting, especially painting and pottery. Anne also enjoyed bowling with family and friends. She was a dog lover and adopted Dalmatians and Brittany Spaniels over the years.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. and memorial gathering took place at 10:30 A.M. at Philadelphia Protestant Home, 6401 Martins Mill Road, Philadelphia, PA 19111.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Dr. Jack Fletcher Price.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Bethany Children’s Home, P.O. Box 93, Womelsdorf, PA 19567.
