Elvira R. "Dolly" Esposito of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at Hillcrest Nursing Center. She was 92 years old. Elvira was born August 17, 1929 in Newark, New Jersey, daughter of the late Antonio Calabrese and the late Maria Calabrese (nee - Tartaglia). She is the beloved wife of the late Michael; mother of Michael; grandmother of Nicole Esposito and Michael Esposito and great grandmother of Gregory, Apollo, Amelia, and Ellery.

Dolly was born, raised, and educated in Newark, NJ. She was a graduate of Central High School in Newark, NJ. Michael and Elvira were married on June 6th 1948 married in Newark, NJ. She went to work for Philco-Ford in Willow Grove and later on for Ogontz Control and Upper Moreland School District. She raised her son on Greyhorse Road in Willow Grove. Dolly was a longtime member of St. Davids and was a faithful prayer of the Rosary. She enjoyed traveling in her free time.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 from 9:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. David Church, 316 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Her graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Matthew P. Windle from St. David Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901.
