George was the proud patriarch of his family passing down his work ethic, an emphasis on family, and most of all love. He was a role model for us all.

He was a master craftsman across many trades and could fix or build just about anything. He built his house on Fitzwatertown Road in 1950 and a family vacation home in Hazleton in the 1970s which is still enjoyed by his family. He continued this passion for building, fixing and repairing into his 90s.

He and his brother, Bill, had their own business, Roberts TV, at 215 N. Easton Road, Willow Grove for 50 years. He was a well respected man and businessman throughout the community.
George and Ruth enjoyed over 30 years of retirement. They traveled the country in their RV and their calendar was always filled.

He was also a 32nd degree Mason at the W. K. Bray Masonic Lodge, No. 410 F.& A.M.

As an avid golfer, he was a member of Sandy Run Country Club for many years.

Services were at the Willow Grove United Methodist Church where George and Ruth have been lifelong members. Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 from 10:30 A.M. and Masonic service at 11:15 A.M. and funeral service will be at 11:30 A.M. at Willow Grove United Methodist Church, 34 North York Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
