Francis J. Lee Jr. of Warminster, Pennsylvania died Saturday, October 9, 2021 at his home. He was 77 years old. Francis was born October 26, 1943 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Francis Joseph Lee and the late Dorothy J. Lee (nee - La Mare). He is the beloved husband of Margaret; father of James Lee and his wife Marie and Susan Owens and her husband Michael; grandfather of Jessica Lee and her fiancé Owen Derrickson, Jenine Lee, Sean Owens, and Eric Owens; Brother of the late Edward James Lee and his wife Jane.
Francis was raised and educated in the Horsham area where he was a 1961 graduate of Hatboro Horsham High School (on Old York Road). He was first introduced to Margaret through a mutual cousin Sr. Mary Esther Lee. The two were married at St. Thomas Aquinas Parish in Croydon, PA on April 10, 1964. Francis worked for 44 years at SPS Technologies. He enjoyed making furniture and violins, gardening, and spending time with his growing family.
Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 1:00 P.M. and funeral service at 2:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Owen Griffiths.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Salvation Army - ARC - Salvation Army, 701 North Broad Street, Philadelphia, PA 19123 or St. Joseph’s Indian School, P.O. Box 100, Chamberlain, SD 57325.
