Leroy A. "Roy" Ulmer of Marlton, New Jersey died Friday, July 22, 2022 at Brightview Senior Living in Mount Laurel. He was 90 years old. Roy was born November 15, 1931 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Walter Ulmer and the late Henrietta Ulmer (nee - Thompson). He is the beloved wife of the late Mary Elizabeth Ulmer; cherished father of Keith Ulmer and his wife Rebecca; adored grandfather of Nicole, Matthew, and Kaitlyn Ulmer.
Roy served in the United States Air Force and after spent a majority of his career working for the Internal Revenue Service. He attended LaSalle University at night to get his Bachelor’s degree. He went on to attend the Wharton School of Business.
Roy came forward in church to accept Jesus as a teenager. He exemplified Christ’s love through his patience and kind demeanor throughout his life. Many people were encouraged to come to know Jesus through his love. Roy was a great husband, father and grandfather. Roy will always be a part of each of us as his memory carries on through his friends and family.
Relatives and friends were invited to his celebration of life on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Davisville Church, 325 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966.
Religious services were conducted by Pastor Ken Wilson from Davisville Church, 325 Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Compassion International, 12290 Voyager Parkway, Colorado Springs, CO 80921.
