Susanne “Sudi” Krane Hambly, a longtime resident of Fort Washington, PA, passed away peacefully at her home in The Villages, FL on November 14, 2021 at the age of 75.
She was the beloved partner of the late Harry Lenz for 25 years; loving mother of Melissa Hambly Scollans (Brendan) of New York and Gretchen Hambly (Shorty Brown) of Australia; and cherished grandmother of Connor, Kaitlin, and Riley Scollans and Brays Hambly-Jaiya-Brown.
Sudi was a proud graduate of Penn State University where she was a member of Chi Omega Sorority. Sudi was a talented and avid knitter and had a passion for teaching preschool children for many years. Later, she was a real estate agent in suburban Philadelphia for two decades.
A celebration of Sudi’s life took place on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at Manufacturers’ Golf and Country Club 511 Dreshertown Road, Fort Washington PA 19034. A reception immediately followed. Interment will be in Whitemarsh Memorial Park and will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Make a Wish Foundation, 5 Valley Square, Suite 210, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
