Bernadette A. Martin of Rockledge, Pennsylvania died Friday, December 31, 2021 at her home. She was 79 years old. Bernadette was born August 3, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Wilbur Keyes and the late Dolores Keyes. She is the beloved wife of the late Michael J. Martin; mother of Michael and his wife Karen, Bernadette Cordes, Timothy and his wife Cathy, Thomas, Joseph and his wife Candis, and the late Christine; grandmother of Lauren and Mikey Martin, Christopher and Jimmy Cordes, Caterina Martin, Amanda and Gabby Martin.
She met her husband Michael under the Wayne Junction, when he pulled up on his motorcycle (AKA moped). The two were married on October 12, 1963 and had 6 children.
Relatives and friends were invited to her graveside service on Friday, January 7, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
Religious services were conducted by Fr. Robert F. Lucas from St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
