The following story was composed by Tony’s family.

Anthony Auriello, also known as Tony the Plumber, 82 died on Saturday, January 8, 2022 at Artman Home in Ambler, PA from Hydrocephalus. Husband of Priscilla (nee Rozycki) for 56 years, father of Beverly of Tucson, AZ and Gary (Helen Ann) of Upper Dublin and grandfather (called Pop Pop by their daughter) Lauren and doggie grandpa to Baby Girl and Chappo. The only child of the late Emidio and Jennie (nee Asta), he was born at Germantown Hospital and baptized at St. Michael of the Saints in Germantown, graduated from Abington High School in June, 1957, married to Priscilla on May 15, 1965 at St. John of the Cross in Roslyn.

He owned and operated A. Auriello Plumbing and heating until December 2018. Also was in partnership with his parents in Auriello Harness Horse Racing Stables for 20 years. His favorite pastime was salt water fishing, car racing, and of course going to see his horses race at all of the different harness tracks.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Friday, January 14, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Relatives and friends were also invited to his viewing on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 A.M. at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA 19038. His graveside service followed at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services were conducted by Tony’s nephew Rev. Sean O’Neill at Queen of Peace Church, 820 North Hills Avenue, Ardsley, PA 19038.
