Shirley C. Cruise
Prospectville, PA
Shirley C Cruise passed away Monday, January 24, 2022 at home with family. Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 28, 1923, Shirley was the daughter of Thomas Clemens and Amy (Arthur) Clemens.
Shirley was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and was a member of the Alpha Omicron Pi Fraternity. She was the church secretary at Calvary Presbyterian Church in Willow Grove, PA for many years. Shirley and Les lived in Prospectville, part of Horsham Township, for the past 68 years.
Shirley is survived by her husband Leslie Palmer Cruise Jr, to whom she was married for over 75 years. Shirley is also survived by her son David Arthur Cruise and his wife Becky (Malone) Cruise and by her daughter Janet (Cruise) Klein and her husband Ken Klein.
Shirley is survived by 6 grandchildren - Amy Cruise Biittner (Tom), Tara Cruise (Shana), Seth Cruise (Crystal), Jason Klein (Jess), Stephanie Klein Talladay (Matt), and Caleb Klein. 16 Great Grandchildren include Selah, Canaan, Tyler, Kamren, Nicholas, Calvin, Isabella, Chloe, Lily, Damon, Sadie, Owen, Baylee, Bella, Darcy and Ransom.
Shirley was an avid reader and loved mysteries and puzzles. She traveled many places with Les and their friends, with many great travel memories.
We love you Mom and grandma. You have left us a great legacy by which we are blessed.
