Robert J. "Bob" Grey Sr. of Abington, Pennsylvania died Friday, January 5, 2024 at Morningside House of Towamencin. He was 93 years old. Bob was born February 27, 1930 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Joseph Godfrey Grey and the late Mary Grey (nee - Kenney). He is the beloved husband of the late Alice E. Grey (nee Radcliffe); father of Deborah Kalbfleisch and her husband, Kurt, Robert Grey, Jr. and his wife, Margaret, and Scott Grey and his wife, Regina; grandfather of Rebecca Cozzone and her husband, Joey, the late Robert Kalbfleisch, Erica and her husband Joe, Sharon, and Kenny Grey; great grandfather of Anthony Kalbfleisch, Nico, Enzo, and Gemma Cozzone; brother of the late Jane Huttlin. He is also survived by a loving extended family.

In the early 1950s, Alice took a job with Sears and there would meet Robert, who had taken a part-time job with the same company. The two were smitten and soon married on October 3, 1953 in the Hunting Park area of the city. In 1955, moved into the Willow Grove area where they would continue to live for the next 60 years. He traveled extensively, taking the family trailer both far and wide to locales such as Alaska and the Midwest. He and Alice also managed to make it to Hawaii for their 30th wedding anniversary. Robert worked as an electronics Technician for many years at Honeywell until his retirement. He was a member of W.K. Bray Lodge #410 F. and A. M.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Friday, January 12, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. His graveside service followed at Forest Hills Cemetery, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
