Doris M. Hoffmann of Dresher, Pennsylvania died Sunday, April 3, 2022 at Brandywine Senior Living, Dresher Estates. She was 85 years old. Doris was born October 13, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Carl Frederick Foell and the late Bertha Antoniette Foell (nee - Brauchli). Stepdaughter of Paula Foell. She is the beloved wife of the late Frederick Howard Hoffmann; mother of Lisa E. Morrow and her husband Steve, Steven J. Hoffmann and his wife Susan and Lora E. Spector and her husband Michael; grandmother of Jeffrey Morrow and his wife Amanda, Lauren Morrow and her husband Tor Linzee, Leslie Morrow, Daniella Spector, and Olivia Spector; great grandmother of Luke Morrow and Reagan Morrow and Beckett Linzee; cousin of Dieter Balle, Karl Friedrich Foll, and the late Christel and her husband Roland Mayer-Foell.

Doris began her career at Atlantic Refining Company in Philadelphia. Later in life she worked for many years with Weiner, Werther, and Associates Medical Practice where she had a special relationship with her colleagues. She also maintained a close bond with her friends from school. Doris enjoyed spending time at her shore house on Long Beach Island with friends and family as well as in the mountains skiing in the winter. She also enjoyed traveling with her husband Fred and going on trips with her family, One of her most memorable trips was Puerto Vallarta. Doris was a life time member of her and Fred’s beloved Trailblazers. She had many hobbies including cooking, reading, listening and dancing to her favorite music and dabbling in the arts. One of her greatest joys was preparing and hosting holiday celebrations.

Relatives and friends were invited to her memorial service on Sunday, July 24, 2022 at 1:30 P.M. at Gloria Dei Church, 570 Welsh Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. A Celebration of Life Party followed at Vereinigung Erzgebirge, 130 Davisville Road, Warminster, PA 18974 where Doris was a lifelong member.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to either the Alzheimer’s Association, 225 North Michigan Avenue, Floor 17, Chicago, IL 60601 or to Abramson Senior Care Hospice, 5 Sentry Parkway East, Suite 100, Blue Bell, PA 19422.
