Ruth Deborah Hoifjeld of North Wales, Pennsylvania died Sunday, May 8, 2022 at Grand View Hospital. She was 62 years old. Ruth was born August 20, 1959 in Berkeley, California, daughter of the late Clairold B. Hoifjeld and Virginia Hoifjeld (nee - Helberg). She is the beloved daughter of Virginia Hoifjeld and the late Rev. Clairold Hoifjeld; sister of Grace Esther Klick and her husband Ronald, Mark Wesley Hoifjeld, and the late Paul Luther Hoifjeld.

"Safe in the arms of Jesus” ...

Ruth was so kind to so many. Many days of her life were dedicated to others. She used her days on earth to help those who could not help themselves. Whether working in a nursing home or working with animals, Ruth proved to be an ongoing source of love and inspiration.

She was born in Berkeley, California, and always adapted well to the many moves our family had to make, due to our father's calling as a Lutheran minister. One of Our last moves, many years ago, brought us to the Philadelphia area ... where Ruth graduated from Upper Dublin High School ... and Eastern College.

Ruth was unique. She always started a phone conversation by saying, "Hello… I love you..." The whole family got attached to that and we continue to do that with each other. Ruth would end each of her phone conversations with,
"Bye Bye for now..." knowing that the time we would be separated was only temporary.

We know that we will see Ruth again in paradise.... In the meantime...
"We Love you” .... "Bye-bye for now.”

Relatives and friends were invited to her memorial service on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 211 South Main Street, North Wales, PA 19454.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Andreas Wagner, Pastor of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Lamb Foundation, 114 North Main Street, North Wales, PA 19454 or St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 211 South Main Street, North Wales, PA 19454.
