Carol Ann Gottschalk of Chalfont, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at her home. She was 82 years old. Carol was born February 21, 1940 in Abington, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Frank Behan and the late Marion Behan (nee - McGuff). She is the beloved wife of more than 59 years of the late George H. Gottschalk Jr.; mother of Gary Gottschalk and his wife Barbara and Kim Holterhoff and her husband George III; grandmother of George Holterhoff IV, Jessica Blank and her husband Matthew, and Sarah Gottschalk; great grandmother of Sydney.
Carol was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, she held the position of chairwomen of the Horsham bicentennial committee, she was a Republican Committeewoman in Horsham, and a member of the Boxford garden club. Carol and George enjoyed traveling and made it to Switzerland, Ireland, Italy, took a Mediterranean cruise and were able to see a lot of America.
Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Thursday, June 30, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. and funeral service at 2:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Owen Griffiths.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders Center - Penn Medicine Development, 3535 Market Street, Suite 750, Philadelphia, PA 19104.
