Kathleen Dianne Costa of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania died Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at her home. She was 71 years old. Kathleen was born January 5, 1951 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Harold T. Watkins Jr. and the late Regina Marie Watkins (nee - Hughes). She is the beloved wife of fifty years to Thomas N. Costa; mother of Thomas N. Costa II and Michael P. Costa and his wife Nicole Kramer Costa; grandmother of Graham Skelly, Olivia Costa, Hunter Hawthorne, Thomas N. Costa III, and Jackson Costa; sister of Barbara Lemieux and her husband Paul, Frances Parkinson and her husband John, Gina Gorman and her husband Glenn, and Harold T. Watkins III and his wife Pat. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
Kathleen was raised and educated in South Philadelphia. She met Tom on a blind date, in high school, set up by her friend Yolanda on September 24, 1967. The two hit it off and were married on April 8, 1972. Kathleen enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone in her circle. Her blessings were her rescued cats and her beloved grandchildren.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Saturday, July 2, 2022 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
