Alan Joseph Thieroff Sr. of Warminster, Pennsylvania passed away Thursday, August 4, 2022. He was 79 years old. Alan was born October 17, 1942 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Carl Thieroff and the late Helen Thieroff (nee - Boyle). He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Trudy Thieroff (nee - Hahn); three sons, Alan Jr. (Mary Ellen), David (Michele), and Matthew (Allie); three loving grandchildren, Max, Eleanor, and Clark; and one brother, Kirk.

In 1964, Alan graduated with a B.S. in Accounting from Temple University. In 1974 he was designated as a Certified Bank Auditor by the Bank Administration Institute, and is a member of the National Society of Certified Bank Auditors. His introduction to the financial services industry was with the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, where he served three years as a National Bank Examiner. He worked for 21 years at First Pennsylvania Bank in the Internal Audit Department.

Alan was a lifelong fan of soccer. He played for Lighthouse Boys Club and Vereinigung Erzgebirge, and was involved in coaching all three of his sons sports teams. He was a member of The Temple Golf Team. Alan’s favorite past times were going to yard sales, and growing tomatoes for the neighbors. Above all else, however, Alan loved and cherished being Pop Pop to his grandchildren, who were his biggest joys in life.
