Celia Petrucelli of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania died Monday, August 22, 2022 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. She was 85 years old. Celia was born March 2, 1937 in Roseto, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Domenic Petrucelli and the late Lucy Petrucelli (nee - DeFranco). She is the sister of the late Daniel, the late Martin Petrucelli and the late Theresa MacRae; aunt of Daniel, Dean and his wife Denise, and the late David Petrucelli, Dana Camp, the late Pamela Dallessandro, Lynn MacRae, and Robert MacRae and his wife Patty; great aunt of Joel, Nicholas, Gabriella and Gino Petrucelli, Anthony Dallessandro, Abigail, Claudia, and Isabelle MacRae.
Celia was a proud graduate of Albright College in Reading, PA in 1959. She spent her entire career teaching deaf students at the Philadelphia School for the Deaf.
Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Friday, August 26, 2022 from 1:00 P.M. and memorial service at 2:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
