Elizabeth "Betty" Jane Cirigliano, nee Strain, of Rockledge, PA, passed away peacefully in her home of 55 years, surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, August 25th, 2022. Betty was 97 years old.

Pre-deceased by her beloved husband, Carmen Cirigliano, of 43 years, and eight of her siblings. She is survived by her sister, Rita Dolcini.

Devoted Mother of Michael Cirigliano (Beverly), Margaretrose Friend (Jim), Bernadette Whitson (Jim), Maryanne Cirigliano, Geraldine Cirigliano (Glenn), Charles Cirigliano (Pauline), and Angela DuBree (Mark).

Proud Grandmother of Michael Cirigliano (Erin), Angie Gowans, Carleen Silva (Cesar), Carolyn Friend, Nicholas Cozzolino, Carmen Murphy, Layla Murphy, Jessica Cirigliano, Christine Pritchard (Sean), Joseph Cirigliano, Caitlyn Pellegrini (Colby), Mark DuBree Jr., and Olivia DuBree.  Proud Great-grandmother to Gianina, Ammon, Isabella, Christopher, MiKayla, Katie, and Aubrey.

Betty's first job was with the US Department of War. She then went on to meet her "charmin' Carmen'", and was married at the age of 23. While raising a family, Betty ran a popular luncheonette in Delaware County, before moving to Rockledge in 1967. There, she worked at the local bakery in the neighborhood.

Sundays were always special with Betty. She was a devoted Catholic and a member of Saint Cecilia's parish. After mass, you could always find her in the kitchen cooking "brAKfast" or baking Pizelles, listening to her favorite, Sundays with Frank Sinatra. Betty was also an avid gardener and a die-hard Philadelphia Eagles fan. Betty was the Matriarch of her family and will forever be remembered for her stories, dance lessons, Catholic prayers, Irish sayings ("Mommily's"), and silly shenanigans.

Relatives and friends were invited to funeral services on Thursday, September 1st, at Saint Cecilia's Church beginning at 9:30am (viewing). Mass began at 10:30 A.M. 525 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia PA 19111. Interment followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Jenkintown PA. 19046.
