Nancy Mora of Horsham, Pennsylvania died Sunday, September 11, 2022 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. She was 85 years old. Nancy was born September 13, 1936 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John L. Rodgers and the late Dorothy Rodgers (nee - Suhr). She is the beloved wife of the late James R. Mora, who she was married to for nearly 50 years; mother of James R. Mora Jr. and his wife Sherri, Rita Mora (Richard), Mary Messina and her husband Richard, Linda Jungck and her husband Dean, and Debra Mora. Sister of Trudy Pilla and her husband Joe, Patricia Rosanelli and her husband Frank, and six other siblings who preceded her in death. She is also survived by her 16 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and grand-dogs.

Nancy was raised in Horsham. She attended Hatboro Horsham High School, where she was active in sports (particularly cheerleading and hockey) and met some lifelong friends. She graduated high school in 1954. She married her late husband James a couple of days before her eighteenth birthday. While her children were young, she worked for Johnsville Naval Center in Warminster as a secretary. A little later in life she took a job in the healthcare industry, and worked her way up to the position of Human Resources Director. Throughout her life, Nancy’s hobbies included sewing, reading, bowling, and gardening. Above all else, however, she loved spending time with her family, particularly her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom she cherished and adored.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Monday, September 19, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, PA 19044. Her graveside service followed at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Joseph F. Rymdeika from St. Catherine of Siena Church.
