David Carl Gimbel, climbed “The Stairway to Heaven” to be reunited with his beloved father and mother Walt and Ruth in Heaven on Thursday November 10, his first grandson Xander was by his side as he left this world.
He is survived by his wife of 41 years Susan, his son Erick (Alicia), granddaughter Natalie, his daughter Pamela (Scott) grandson Xander, son Robert and grandson R.J. daughter Lisa (Andrew), granddaughters Lexie, Rowan & Piper.
David is also survived by brother Chip(Carol), brother Rick(Janet), sister-in- law Kathy Gimbel, sister in law Joan(Jim) sister-in-law Gloria(Larry), Nieces, Nephews and too many friends to mention!
Family and close friends were invited to share in David’s Memorial.
In lieu of flowers we would ask you to plant a tree in David’s memory or make a donation in David’s name to the COPD Foundation 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134.
