The following obituary was composed by Kyle’s family:

Kyle T. Trush of Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, suddenly passed away Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at his home. He was 37 years old, born August 22, 1985 in Meadowbrook, Pennsylvania, son of the late Mark William Trush and Karen Marie Trush (nee Gilbert), brother of Jared W. Trush and his wife Allyson Trush (nee Eickhoff), and his Grandmother Mary Trush. Many uncles, aunts, and cousins survive him.

Kyle was raised in Elkins Park, Abington Township, Pennsylvania where he attended McKinley Elementary School and graduated from Abington High School. He also earned a certificate from Orleans Technical Institute in carpentry.

Kyle worked in the heat and energy field but for most of his career his main source of employment was as a security guard. He worked in many areas surrounding Philadelphia, from downtown Philadelphia, the Navy Yard, Belmont, the Main Line, King of Prussia and most recently Parx Casino in Bensalem, PA.

Kyle enjoyed listening to music and playing guitar and piano. He liked to go to restaurants around the city and sample different types of food. He grew up playing team sports, baseball, football, soccer and basketball. As a spectator of sports he enjoyed the Phillies and Eagles. His main sports focus was boxing and mixed martial arts, which he keenly followed and loved. He recorded and watched every prelim and match available on television and online. He will be deeply missed by family, friends and all who knew him.
