The following obituary was lovingly composed by Ginny’s family:

Virginia A. "Ginny" Mamrol of Warminster, Pennsylvania passed away Tuesday, December 6, 2022 following a brief illness with family at her side. She lived a full and meaningful 85 years and touched the lives of countless people along the way. Ginny was born November 20, 1937 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to the late Erich McCulla and the late Eva McCulla (nee-Fermanian). She was the beloved wife of the late Walter J. Mamrol for 47 years and the loving mother of Bernadine DeMarco and her husband Michael, Carolyn "Chip" Ryan and her husband Martin, David Mamrol and his wife Touri, Eugene Mamrol, Francis Mamrol and his wife Maria, and the late Col. Andrew Mamrol and his wife Pamela. She absolutely adored her seventeen grandchildren and her four great grandchildren. She was the sister of Bernice McCulla and Eric McCulla and his wife Marilyn.

Born, raised and educated in Philadelphia, Ginny attended St. Cecilia School and St. Hubert Catholic High School for Girls where she excelled academically. She and Walter married at St. Cecilia Catholic Church on February 13, 1960 and very quickly the alphabet children started to arrive - Andrew, Bernadine, Carolyn, David, Eugene, Francis and sadly a full-term stillborn daughter Gretchen. Despite being the best and busiest mother ever, Ginny managed to become an accomplished musician, singer, seamstress, stain-glass maker and painter. She was a concert trombonist, piano teacher, cantor, choir director and parish organist for Presentation B.V.M. parish for over 50 years providing music and song for weddings, funerals, May Processions, children’s masses and more. She played the organ for Saturday evening mass for the very last time only 3 days before she passed. She entered her oil and watercolor paintings in art shows. She won ribbons and sold numerous pieces. Her most appreciated works were her handmade Birthday and Christmas cards. Ginny’s sewing skills were phenomenal. There was no alteration or sewing project she couldn’t handle like a professional.

Ginny’s love of travel was lifelong and she passed that love on to her children at an early age. Annual three week family camping trips throughout the United States sleeping in a tent with Walter and their six young children were anything but glamorous for Ginny, but she thoroughly enjoyed this family time and making memories with “the gang”. Later in life she and Walter became world travelers. With Walter’s passing and her children grown, Ginny went on to become a talented Mahjong maven, a theater buff, a puzzler and an avid reader when not enjoying her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She never missed an opportunity to celebrate milestones with her family. Ginny was a brilliant, tireless, kind, talented and very funny woman who will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Please think of her whenever you see a dragonfly.

Relatives and friends are invited to her visitation on Monday, December 12, 2022 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at Presentation B. V. M. Church, 100 Old Soldiers Road, Cheltenham, PA 19012. Her graveside service will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services will be conducted by Fr. William S. Harrison from Presentation B. V. M. Church.
