Katharina Leisch of Horsham, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully in her sleep on Tuesday, January 3, 2023 at her home. She was 100 years old. Katharina was born December 12, 1922 in Mastort, Yugoslavia, she was the daughter of the late Johann Lung and the late Katharina Lung (nee - Schirato). She is the beloved wife of the late Martin Leisch; loving mother of Karl Heinz Leisch (Donna) and Linde Luczakowsky (Andrew); grandmother of Nicole Palaio (Christopher), Erica Thacker (Shane), Karl Martin Leisch (Stephanie), and Maggie Leisch; great-grandmother of Lucas Palaio.
Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Monday, January 9, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 321 Witmer Road, Horsham, PA 19044. Her graveside service followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Danube Swabian Association of Philadelphia and Vicinity, 1277 Southampton Road, Philadelphia, PA 19116
