Frank Dehel of Philadelphia passed away peacefully January 2nd, 2023 at the age of 91 years old. Frank was born June 24th, 1931 in Philadelphia, son of the late Frank M. Dehel and Elizabeth M. Dehel (nee Rosta). Loving husband of Patricia Dehel (nee Reilly) for 67 years. Father of Frank (Liz), Tom, Eileen (Dave), Barb (Phil), Lori (Vince), the late Richard (Angie), and Matt (Christine). Brother to Dianne Walsh.
Grandfather of 22 and great-grandfather of 16.
He was a beloved Troop 109 scout master and handball enthusiast who will be greatly missed by all. Frank was a proud veteran of the United States Navy.
Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing after 9:30 AM with Mass beginning at 10:30 AM at Saint Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111. Interment followed at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Parkinson's Foundation, 1359 Broadway, Ste 1509, New York, NY 10018.
