Katharina Vogel of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Monday, January 9, 2023 in Northampton Township. She lived a full life to the age of 90 years old. Katharina was born July 7, 1932 in Zerne, Yugoslavia, daughter of the late Friedrich Kampf and the late Gertrude Kampf (nee - Tabar). She is the beloved wife of the late Johann Vogel; mother of Ingrid Beck and her husband Herbert and Robert Vogel and his wife Marcia; grandmother of Adam Beck, Eric Beck, John Vogel and his wife Liane Toohey, Laurie Vogel and Alyssa Vogel and her husband Mike Merves; sister of Nick Kampf.
After emigrating from Germany, Katharina was employed as a seamstress throughout her entire career. Above all else, Katharina loved and cherished her family, particularly the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Friday, January 27, 2023 from 9:30 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. and the Memorial Mass at 10:30 A.M. at St. Cecilia Church, 535 Rhawn Street, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
Religious services were conducted by Father Lucas from St. Cecilia Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Dementia Society of America, PO Box 600, Doylestown, PA 18901
