Catherine Morris of Willow Grove passed away January 9th, 2023. She was 91 years old. Catherine was born in Philadelphia on January 7th, 1932. Mother of Margaret Way and Edward Morris. Grandmother of Edward Jr., Matthew, John, Sarah, and Andrew Morris. Great Grandmother to Andrew, Robert, Amber, Rebecca, Jonathan, Rachel, Kayla, and Zach.
Predeceased by her husband Herman Morris, Jr., her companion Thomas Clarke, her son-in-law George Way, and her daughter-in-law Marianne Morris.
Catherine was born and raised in South Philadelphia. She enjoyed dancing, music, and being with friends, many of whom she met at the VFW hall. Catherine will be missed by many.
Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing after 9:00 AM on January 21st at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA, with a prayer service that began at 10:00 AM. Her graveside service followed at Hillside Cemetery, 2556 Susquehanna Road, Roslyn, PA 19001.
