John Wayne Mishalko of Warminster, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023. He was 81 years old. John was born February 4, 1941 in Cleveland, Ohio, son of the late Andrew Mishalko and the late Margaret Mishalko (nee - Kollar). He is the beloved husband of the late Carole W. Mishalko; Father of Christine and Wayne Mishalko and his wife Tammy; brother of the late Ruth Sterrett and her husband the late Philip Sr., the late Clifford Mishalko, and the late Lawrence Mishalko and his wife Patricia. He is also survived by his family and friends.

John was raised and educated in North Olmstead, OH. He joined the Navy after high school and served from March 1959 to March of 1965. He was stationed in Argentia, New Foundland during the Vietnam War. John worked as a print press operator in Ivyland, PA, a milkman for Sealtest, and a technician for Stott Waldman Oil Company. Not one to sit still, he continued to work after retirement in the warehouses for Carquest in Warminster and Auto Plus in Doylestown. John met Carole while he was stationed at the Johnsville Naval Base. The two were married in May 1963 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Abington. They raised their family in Warminster. John volunteered as a Scout Master for BSA Troop 136 and was an umpire for Warminster Baseball Association. John was very creative and shared his skills in the garage helping others, building signs for family occasions, making holiday decorations, and grave blankets for family members.

Relatives and friends were invited to his viewing on Friday, January 20, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. and a time for remembrances at 2:00 P.M. Military honors rendered by the United States Navy followed at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Interment was private.
