Leida Virginia Rodriguez of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 surrounded by family.  Leida was born August 15, 1943 in Ponce, Puerto Rico, and is the beloved wife of the late Aurelio Rodriguez; mother of Edgardo Rodriguez, Jacqueline Colón, Celinette Olmo, Rebecca Rodriguez, and Abigail Rodriguez; grandmother of Lee, Ruth, Omar, Crystal, Kelly, Michael, Edgardo, Keila, Joseph, Alex, Jose, Abigail, Katelynn and Dinah, and; and great grandmother of Celina, Jake, Raelee, Zoe, Saige, and Nia.
 
Leida was born, raised, and educated in Ponce, Puerto Rico. She and her husband moved to Philadelphia in 1971. Leida was a devoted mother and a wonderful homemaker, a job she took great pride in. She was an active member of her church Iglesia Apostolica Cristiana de Dios Inc., then the Church of God of the Seventh Day.
 
Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Monday, January 23, 2023 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.  Her graveside service followed at Oakland Cemetery, Adams and Ramona Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19124.
 
Religious services will be conducted by Minister Wilfredo Rosado Sr. or Minister Wilfredo Rosado Jr. from Congregación del Altismo Yahveh, 576 West Dauphin Street, Philadelphia, PA 19133.

Leida Virginia Rodríguez de Filadelfia, Pensilvania, falleció en paz el miércoles 18 de enero del 2023 con su familia a su lado. Leida nació el 15 de agosto del 1943 en Ponce, Puerto Rico, y es la amada esposa del difunto Aurelio Rodríguez; madre de Edgardo Rodríguez, Jacqueline Colón, Celinette Olmo, Rebecca Rodríguez y Abigail Rodríguez; abuela de Lee, Ruth, Omar, Crystal, Kelly, Michael, Edgardo Jr, Keila, Joseph, Alex, Jose, Abigail, Katelynn y Dinah; y bisabuela de Celina, Jake, Raelee, Zoe, Saige y Nia.
 
Leida nació, y fue criada y educada en Ponce, Puerto Rico. Ella y su esposo se mudaron a Filadelfia en 1971. Leida era una madre dedicada y una maravillosa ama de casa, un trabajo del que se enorgullecía. Fue miembra activa de la Iglesia Apostolica Cristiana de Dios Inc. y luego de la Iglesia de Dios Del Septimo Dia.
 
Los familiares y amigos están invitados a su visita el lunes 23 de enero del 2023 a partir de las 9:00 a.m. y funeral a las 10:00 a.m. en Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Su funeral seguirá en Oakland Cemetery, Adams and Ramona Avenues, Philadelphia, PA 19124.
