Carl F. Smith of Warrington, Pennsylvania died Monday, January 30, 2023 at Chandler Hall. He was 84 years old. Carl was born September 4, 1938 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late James Alfred Smith and the late Marion Smith (nee - Brown). He is the beloved husband of Patricia M. Harding Middleman Smith and the late Carol F. Smith; father of Jeanne Ross and her husband John, James Smith and his wife Megan, and the late Gary Smith and his wife Eileen; step-father of Melissa Firman and her husband Bill and Ted Middleman and his wife Wendy; grandfather of 12. He is also survived by his many great grandchildren and brother Ronald Smith and his wife Rose Marie. He was predeceased by his parents and sisters Rita Stone and her husband Ray and Joan Reiner and her husband Ed.

Carl was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. He was a graduate of Northeast Catholic High School. Carl worked for many years as an Insurance Salesman. He coached for Roslyn AA Little League and was an avid golfer. Carl obtained a brown belt in judo and taught a self defense course for many years.

Immediate relatives and close friends were invited to his visitation on Monday, February 6, 2023 from 10:00 A.M. and Funeral Mass at 11:00 A.M. at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 856 Euclid Avenue, Warrington, PA 18976. His graveside service followed with military honors rendered by the United States Navy at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, 3301 West Cheltenham Avenue, Cheltenham, PA 19038.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Patrick Muka from St. Robert Bellarmine Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Boulevard, Staten Island, NY 10306.
