John David Gioia of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania passed away suddenly on Thursday, February 16, 2023. He was 61 years old. John was born February 3, 1962 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late John James Gioia and Barbara Ann Gioia (nee - Depaolo). In addition to his mother Barbara, John is survived by a daughter, Jacquelyn Gioia; a brother, James D. Gioia; two nephews, Brendon (Monica) Gioia and Matthew Gioia; and niece Krista (Joe) Martino and her two sons. He was preceded in death by his sister, Connie Farrell.
Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Friday, March 3, 2023 from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. and memorial service at 3:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.
