William M. "Bill" Frank of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania died Monday, April 3, 2023 at his home. He was 84 years old. Bill was born September 2, 1938 in Abington, Pennsylvania, son of the late Frederick C. Frank and the late Emma Frank (nee - Rehm). He is the beloved husband of Edith “Edie” Frank nee - Nylander; father of Laurie Frank Szogas and her husband Scott, William R. Frank and his wife Marie nee - Bower and Christine Frank Decker and her husband Edward; grandfather of Brian Szogas, Kristen Szogas Baba and her husband Mike, Tanna Frank, Matthew Frank, Eddie Decker and Casey Decker; brother of Mildred Carr.

Bill was a graduate of Olney High School. After graduation he served in the United States Air Force from November of 1957 until his Honorable Discharge in June of 1961 at rank of A1C E4. During his service he was stationed in Michigan and in Iceland. Bill’s specialty during his time in the Air Force was as an aircraft mechanic. Following his time in the military he worked at F.C. Frank Florist before taking on long term employment at Bell Telephone and its successors. At the time of his retirement he was an internal equipment instructor teaching Verizon staff. Bill loved traveling and camping. While at home he enjoyed working around the house and in the yard. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.

Relatives and friends were invited to his visitation on Monday, April 10, 2023 from 9:30 to 11:00 A.M. and memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. Religious services were conducted by Rev. Owen Griffiths.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Fox Chase Cancer Center - Institutional Advancement Department, 333 Cottman Avenue, Philadelphia, PA 19111.
