Mary Helen "Dollie" Leeds of Abington, Pennsylvania passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital.  She was 74 years old.  Dollie was born February 13, 1949 in Evanston, Illinois, daughter of the late Martin Frances Palzet and the late Mary Margaret Palzet (nee - Hamlet).  She is the beloved wife of the late Charles William Leeds; mother of Amie Raynor and her husband David and C.J. Leeds and his wife Abigail; grandmother of Joey Linsinbigler, Maxwell Raynor, and Jake Leeds; sister of Susan Inman and her husband Donald, the late William Palzet and his wife Beth, Anne Doherty and her husband the late Eugene, John Palzet and his wife Linda, Patricia Palzet-Taylor and her husband James and Kathleen Nichols and her husband Jeffrey; daughter in law of Elizabeth Leeds; sister in law of Linda Tantino and her husband Daniel. Dollie is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
 
Dollie was raised and educated in Libertyville, IL. She attended Carmel High School and was a 1967 graduate of Mundelein High School. Chuck and Dollie were married in 1969 and living in Illinois. They moved to Pennsylvania together in 1970 and raised their family. Chuck and Dollie moved to Abington 28 years ago. Dollie worked for over 30 years at Cheltenham High School as the secretary to the Principal. She also coached the cheerleading team for over 20 years. Dollie was a person of service; she was committed to helping others in need. In recent years, she was active at Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church in Hatboro volunteering many hours in the church’s food pantry. Dollie enjoyed reading and watching movies, cheering on the Philadelphia Phillies, and had recently begun to travel in her free time. Her most enjoyable moments where spending time with her grandsons.
 
Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Friday, June 30, 2023 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.  Relatives and friends were also invited to her visitation on Saturday, July 1, 2023 from 9:00 to 9:50 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 South York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.
 
Religious services were conducted by Rev. Nancy M. Ludwig from Lehman Memorial United Methodist Church, 300 South York Road, Hatboro, PA 19040.
