The following obituary was written by Amy’s family:
Krohn, Amy Kolleen (nee Kolick). Died unexpectedly on July 20, 2023 at her home in Horsham, PA. Amy grew up in Philadelphia, graduated from Little Flower High School for Girls and went on to attend Delaware Valley College, where she earned a degree in Criminal Justice; she was later awarded a Master’s in Social Work (MSW) from Liberty University.
Amy was a kind person who brought compassion and empathy to her personal and professional life. She dedicated years to working with the homeless and victims of abuse. Amy was a devoted wife who loved her husband and soulmate, Ed, through the many ups and downs of his years-long battle with cancer. She enjoyed travelling, spending time with friends, and snuggling with her fur-babies. Amy will be missed by the many people whose lives she touched and by the animals she generously welcomed into her home.
Amy is survived by her siblings, Jay Kolick (Matthew) and Kristine Bradley (Barry), her aunt Penny Francke, in-laws Winifred, Jennifer Johnson (Ray), and Emily, and three nephews and two nieces. Amy is predeceased by her husband Ed and her parents, Sallie and Emile.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
