Nancy Lynn Scholtz of Hatboro, Pennsylvania passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 24, 2023, after an eight year battle with cancer. She was 60 years old. Nancy was born February 5, 1963 in Abington, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John Frederick Rawlings and the late Margaret Jean Rawlings (nee - Thatcher). She is the beloved wife of 33 years to Johann “John” E. Scholtz; mother of Juliane Scholtz; sister of Judy Zweig, Ruth Tauber and her husband the late Willy, Lois Shaw and her husband Richard, John Rawlings and his wife Joyce, David Rawlings and his wife Terri, and Mark Rawlings and his wife Stephanie; sister in law of Susan Birett and her husband Richard. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Nancy was a 1981 graduate of Phil-Mont Christian Academy. She worked for Prudential Insurance in their AARP Division. An avid photographer, she won a contest at work with a submission of a photo she took of an old farm house, one of her favorite topics, in Bennington, VT.

Nancy and John met at an ice cream social held at the Bethany Baptist Church in the Fox Chase section of Philadlephia. They fell in love and were married on April 28th 1990. Nancy and John raised their daughter in Hatboro. Nancy was an exceptional wife, mother, and care giver. She took great care of her mom in her later years. She also wrote cards for shut-ins. In her free time, Nancy enjoyed playing piano. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Saturday, July 29, 2023 from 9:00 to 9:50 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Trinity Orthodox Presbyterian Church, 151 West County Line Road, Hatboro, PA 19040. Her graveside service followed at Pine Grove Memorial Park, 1475 West County Line Road, Warminster, PA 18974.

Religious services were conducted by her brother in law Rev. Richard Shaw.
