Krzysztof B. "Kris" Janowski of Huntingdon Valley, Pennsylvania died Friday, October 20, 2023 at Chandler Hall.  He was 68 years old.  Kris was born August 26, 1955 in Bydgoszcz, Poland, son of the late Bogdan Janowski and the late Ruslawa Janina Janowski (nee - Napiorkowska).  He is the beloved husband of the late Krystyna (nee Anderwald) Janowska; father of Agnes Levin and her fiancé John Iuliano (and her husband the late Dr. Gabriel Scott Levin); grandfather of Ruby and Violet Levin; brother of the late Marek Janowski; uncle of Monika Janowski.

Kris was born, raised, and educated in Poland. He met Krystyna when they were both teens while vacationing in Sopot, a seaside resort city on the Baltic Sea in Poland. The two fell in love and were married in June of 1977. Kris, his wife, and young daughter emigrated to the United States in 1981. He started his own check cashing business which he ran for many years. He loved to travel with his wife and enjoy trips to the beach. Kris was an avid gardener, growing flowers at the family home. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Kris was always there to lend a helping hand whenever he was asked. He was an active partner raising his granddaughters and enjoyed watching them play soccer and grow up.
