Betsy A. Bernert, age 69, of Willow Grove, PA, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family and friends on December 3, 2023. She was born on February 9, 1954, in Philadelphia. Betsy was a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Betsy had an open door and open heart policy for her family and friends, always welcoming everyone with love and kindness. She found joy in being in her kitchen, where she would cook for her clients, host weekly family dinners, and prepare meals for her friends and neighbors. Her passion for food was evident in every dish she made, and she loved sharing her culinary creations with her loved ones.

Later in life, she was blessed to find her true love, Joey, and together they cherished their family and each other. Their love was a source of happiness and strength for them.

Betsy ran Creative Cuisine catering company out of her home for 50 years before retiring in 2020. She dedicated her career to bringing delicious meals and joy to countless people.

In her free time, she enjoyed reading with her beloved kitties, volunteering at the library, tending to her vegetable garden, and hosting endless parties at home with family and friends.

Betsy is survived by her daughter, Kathleen Boeve, stepdaughters Lynne Boeve, Kathy Appel (Ken), stepsons Joseph B. Collins IV (Charlene), and Michael Collins. She is also survived by her siblings Joseph Bernert (Barb), Kathy Joyce, and Michael Bernert (Heather), as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
