Linda M. Weller of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania passed away on Sunday, December 31, 2023 at her home.  She was 73 years old.  Linda was born December 15, 1950 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Oscar Boehm and the late Martha E. Boehm (nee - Bey).  She is the beloved wife of 45 years to Craig N. Weller; mother of Nathan Weller and his wife Christine and Jennie Pena and her husband Rich; grandmother of Abigail and Wesley Weller and Tavi Pena; sister of Janice Boehm, Martin Boehm and his wife Manizheh, and the late Kenneth Boehm.

Linda was raised and educated in Willow Grove, PA. She was a graduate of Upper Moreland High School and the Hussian School of Art in Philadelphia. She met Craig Weller while both were attending church at Willow Grove United Methodist Church, where Craig's father Lane Weller was pastor. They raised their family in Willow Grove and kept active with their church. Linda was a Sunday School teacher, Assistant Youth Leader, and a room mother while raising her children and working from home prior to it being common. Linda was a freelance illustrator and watercolor painter for many years, and never retired. She was an illustrator for Highlights for Children Magazine for over forty years, most notably illustrating the “Bear Family” stories and contributing to “Hidden Pictures”. In her free time, she enjoyed sewing, quilting, hiking with Craig, and photography.  Her varied artistic outlets provided opportunities to create beautiful gifts. She loved spending time in fellowship with family and friends, and seeing the family tree grow across the generations. She valued her relationships both near and far, always keeping others in mind.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Willow Grove United Methodist Church, 34 North York Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Lorelei Toombs from Willow Grove United Methodist Church.

The family requests no flowers due to sensitivities to flowers in the family.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Willow Grove United Methodist Church, 34 North York Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.
