The following obituary was written by Alice’s family:

Alice O. Corman (née Ottinger), of Meadowbrook, PA. died February 24, 2025 at Abington Hospital. She was 82 years old, and was born on July 30, 1942 in Abington, PA. to James and Adelaide Ottinger (née Koeblin).

Alice was the spouse of 30 years of William Corman, and the mother of Carl Albert “Chad” Hagar (deceased) and Walter Fiske Hagar V (Rob) as well as “Bonus Mom” to Richard Corman, Jeanne Corman (Roberta), and John Corman (Michelle); grandmother to Tyler Hagar (Tayler) as well as “Bonus Grandma” to Robert John and Sean Michael Corman; and sister of James Ottinger, Jr. Nan to Holly Heinel, Ashley Kopstik and Madison Pisut.

Alice attended school in Upper Dublin, PA., graduating from high school in 1960. She then attended Pierce College in Philadelphia. She worked in administration for NADC at Johnsville Naval Air Station, and as executive secretary at UNISYS and at Thomas Technology.

Over the years, Alice lived in Horsham Township, PA, and in Meadowbrook, PA. She loved traveling and visited Hawaii six times, Bermuda, Caribbean islands, the American Southwest, and took numerous cruises.

Family and friends appreciated Alice’s love of gourmet cooking and entertaining, and will miss frequent gatherings at Alice and Bill’s home. Her memory abides for the many people whose lives Alice touched and enriched.

Relatives and friends were invited to her visitation on Wednesday, March 12, 2025 from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M. and memorial service at 11:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178.
