Rena S. Aldridge of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania died Friday, December 1, 2017 at 2249 Princeton Avenue. She was 91 years old. Rena was born September 22, 1926 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Ernest Smith and the late Gertrude Smith (nee - Jones). She is the beloved wife of 60 years of the late Elwood “Woody” Aldridge; devoted mother of Valerie Finn and her husband the late Tom and Ernie Aldridge; beloved grandmother of Jennifer Coyle and her husband Mike, Thomas Finn III and his wife Dawn, Amanda Finn, and the late Kelly Finn; great grandmother of Jessica and Danny Coyle; sister of the late Samuel Smith and his wife the late Helen and the late Richard Smith and his wife Doris; she is also survived by her loving extended family.
Everyone loved her because she loved everyone unconditionally. She was a very special lady and will be missed always.
Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 8:30 A.M. and funeral service at 10:00 A.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046. Her entombment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, 101 Byberry Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
Religious services will be conducted by Rev. Kathleen D. R. Harkness from Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 877 East Street Road, Southampton, PA 18966.
