Howard C. "Howie" Kohout of Galloway, New Jersey passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 21, 2017 surrounded by his family. He was 84 years old. Howie was born October 29, 1933 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, son of the late Charles Kohout and the late Theresa Kohout (nee - Stahl). He is survived by his loving spouse of 45 years, Joseph Cooke; his nephew, Steven Thomas (Kimberly); brother in law, Charles Thomas; cousin, Ronald Konick (Jean), and his extended family of Bob White and family in Hatboro.

Howie was employed at Smith, Kline, Glaxo Pharmaceutical Co.

Relatives and friends were invited to his services in New Jersey at Our Lady Of Perpetual Help (Assumption) Church, 146 South Pitney Road, Galloway NJ on Tuesday, December 26th with a viewing from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM, followed by Mass at 3:00 PM.

Relatives and friends were also invited to his services in Pennsylvania on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 with a viewing from 12:00 P.M. and funeral service at 1:30 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 501 Easton Road, Willow Grove, PA 19090. His graveside service followed with military honors rendered by the United States Army at 2:45 P.M. at Lawnview Cemetery, 500 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Walnut Street Theatre, Attn: Angels Campaign, 825 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
