R. Elizabeth "Betty" Stover of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 12, 2018 at Abington Hospital Jefferson Health. She was 82 years old. Betty was born September 10, 1935 in Abington, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late Curtis Clark and the late Ruth Clark (nee - Tomlinson). She is the beloved wife of the late Arden C. Stover; mother of Bruce L. (the late Donna) Stover and his fiancee Angel Pileggi Beinhart, Barry A. Stover and his partner Ron Rue, and Bret E. Stover and his wife Allyson; grandmother of Jenna Anselmo and her husband John, Kim Stover, Megan Herbert and her husband Garry, Ryan Stover, Cory Stover, Drew Stover, and Christopher Rue, his wife Rebecca and their children Colton and Hunter.

Betty is the sister of the late Curtis Clark and his wife Ellen, the late Robert Clark, the late William Clark and his wife Lois, the late Thomas Clark, and the late Richard “Butch” Clark; sister in law of the late Betty Grasse and her husband John, the late Arlene Mininger and her husband the late Charles, the late Mary Landes and her husband Ralph, the late Janet Eash and her husband the late Art, Harold Stover and his wife Donna, and Linda Nyce and her husband the late Vern. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.

Betty grew up in Bucks county and was a 1954 graduate of Central Bucks High School. She married Arden in May of 1961 in Maryland. They raised their three sons in Upper Dublin Township. Betty was an avid bowler and golfer. She was a member of the Old York Road Country Club where she was a member of the golf team and past president of their bowling team. Betty also served as President of the Philadelphia Bowling Association. She loved to travel and especially loved family vacations to Walt Disney World.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Monday, February 19, 2018 from 9:00 A.M. and funeral service at 11:00 A.M. at Warrington Fellowship Church, 2233 Bristol Road, Warrington, PA 18976. Her graveside service followed at Whitemarsh Memorial Park, 1169 Limekiln Pike, Ambler, PA 19002.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Robert Schuman, Jr. from Warrington Fellowship Church.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Upper Dublin High School Athletic Fund, 800 Loch Alsh Avenue, Fort Washington, PA 19034 or Warrington Fellowship Church, 2233 Bristol Road, Warrington, PA 18976.
