Donna Marie (nee - Collins) Dearing of Bensalem, Pennsylvania died Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home. She was 41 years old. Donna was born November 6, 1976 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, daughter of the late John J. Collins III and Patricia Collins (nee - Natale). She is the beloved wife of Raymond W. Dearing; sister of Jennifer Ann Collins and John J. Collins IV and his wife Kathleen; niece of Kathryn Collins; Goddaughter of Geraldine Federal; sister in law of Lonnie Dearing Jr; aunt of Lonnie Dearing III and Matthew Thomas.

Donna was born, raised, and educated in Philadelphia. She was a graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School and continued her education with a Bachelors of Education from Kutztown University and a Masters of Education from Holy Family University. She began teaching first and third grade at Sheridan Elementary and later moved to Pennypacker Elementary where she taught sixth grade. Donna and Ray met through mutual friends on August 23, 1997. They fell in love and were married September 30, 2006 at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in the Mayfair section of the city. In her free time, Donna enjoyed watching funny movies and reading. She was a lifelong fan of Winnie the Pooh.

Relatives and friends were invited to her viewing on Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 1:00 P.M. and funeral service at 3:00 P.M. at Wetzel and Son Funeral Home, 419 Huntingdon Pike, Rockledge, PA 19046.

Religious services were conducted by Rev. Owen Griffiths.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia Foundation, PO Box 781352, Philadelphia, PA 19178.
